#SCBDReview: Primetime Dining at Prime Thirteen in #PointPleasant #NJ

The summer at the Jersey Shore is going to start before we know it. Towns like Point Pleasant, Manasquan and Seaside will be packed. Well lucky for you, I have a few good recommendations for when you come to the Jersey Shore.  I was really fortunate to check out Prime Thirteen recently with my good friend, Jen. Like me, she loves food so it made for a great time and press meal. Located in a ‘prime’ location right off Arnold Ave and en route to the beach it’s definitely a dining destination especially if you love a good steak dinner. Keep in mind it’s BYO but they have delicious, fresh product coming out of the kitchen and its an experience when you come in.

There is a ton to love about Prime. The food is fresh and made to order and the staff is knowledgeable. Also unlike most restaurants they cook everything on a wood-fired grill. And they make sure you know that!

I highly recommend you get appetizers! They were so good and Jen and I loved the cheese steak rolls, and calamari. It was cooked perfectly and wad full of flavor. They also have this amazing home cured bacon. I love bacon and it was phenomenal. Jen doesn’t eat bacon almost ever and she enjoyed it!

We got to taste the seafood risotto and one of the steaks as our entrees. The risotto was really good and full of flavor. Perfect for someone who may not like steak dining with you. Prime is known for it’s steaks so I highly recommend you order that as an entree. All of their steaks are cooked to order and full of flavor. The sides are amazing and made fresh daily. I had the best creamed spinach there to date! I couldn’t get over how fresh it was. I could eat it all the time.

I really enjoyed my experience and highly recommend it! It’s a perfect post beach meal. You will definitely be filled from all the food because the portions are big! The staff takes great care of you too! Last, don’t forget to get dessert! The cannoli tacos are to die for! Cheers!
