If there is one thing that Sara and I really love, it is wine. We love trying new wines and finding the best local wineries. It’s always such a fun experience. So when we heard our favorite local winery, Renault Winery, was having a Winter Wine Festival on January 10th, we knew we had to go! The admission price for the festival was only $10, which is such a great deal. Twelve New Jersey wineries were represented at the event. Some of them included Tomasello, Bellview, Dimatteo, Sharott, and many others. When we got there, we were given a glass Renault wine glass for tasting and a list of all the wineries present. Also listed on the paper was all of the wines that were offered so you could keep track of favorites!

Each winery had their own table where some of the seasonal wines and signature wines were available for tasting. The staff from each winery were helpful in educating attendees of the flavors and what the wines could be paired with. Sara and I had a lot of fun trying different wines from the local wineries along with our friend Kellie. We definitely found some new favorites! As well as the tastings, the wineries also had some of the wines available for purchase that day. It was a great way for attendees to share their new favorites with friends! As well as the wine, there was also food available for sale and a brunch at Renault’s Gourmet Restaurant. Tours of the historic building were available too at an additional price. It was a great day filled with plenty of wine and fun for all! The winery is holding another festival in March so check out their website and Facebook page for more details!!
