Wow, it’s crazy to think another year has passed by. I’ve accomplished more than I could have ever imagined at 23. First off, I’m grateful I can write this reflection this year as I didn’t feel it was appropriate last year since we were still dealing with Sandy’s devastation. I’ve met so many people I’d never imagined meeting, have grown #SCBD and have grown with my team and my staff. This year more than ever I’ve grown as a person finding out who my true friends are, working with my family, and being grateful for the supportive boyfriend I have. They are my rocks and encouragement daily to keep this going.
I share my day with the first day of Hanukkah this year, one of my favorite holidays. I love the food and symbolism of the holiday and am happy I can share it with my birthday.
This is also the first year I won’t be celebrating it with my Grandma but I feel her here more than ever lately, I know she’d be proud. And I know she’s in a better place with my Grandpa. Rest In Peace <3
It finally dawned on me while thinking of what I’d write for this reflection this year so I’d like to make the case why I am a foodie and I truly believe its because I am a Thanksgiving baby. I grew up celebrating my birthday on a day of feasting and celebrating which has grown into my personality. I’ll always love Thanksgiving especially since sometimes I share it with my birthday. I love spending time with loved ones. I couldn’t ask for more.
I love this time of year and am so thankful, everyday for everything and every opportunity placed in front of me and of course share with you all!
I want to personally thank you readers for reading posts by the team & I!
Here’s to another great year of fun food, fashion, and beauty adventures to share with you!
Cheers to 24 years,
